Legacy Gala 2027
Join us at the 2027 Legacy Gala – Boots and Bling “The Legacy Goes Western” themed event at The Lodge at Ironwoods on April 3, 2027! Wear your best old western attire and enjoy delicious dinner and drinks with fellow attorneys, judges and friends while helping the Foundation donate to charities in the community. There are individual tickets and ticket packages for sale as well as various sponsorship opportunities. This event includes dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions, and a "Raise the Paddle" portion of the program where particular charities and individuals are highlighted and attendees may make donations.

Hops & Pops 2026
The Foundation has teamed up with the Young Lawyers Section of the Johnson County Bar Association to bring you “Hops & Pops”, an annual event at a local brewery (or winery in previous years) where you can enjoy delicious drinks and appetizers while catching up with fellow Johnson County attorneys and judges. Join us this year at Servaes Brewing Company for a wonderful evening!
General tickets are $35 per person (YLS member tickets are $25), which includes entry, two drinks, and appetizers. Additional drinks, including non-alcoholic drinks, will be available for purchase as well. Sponsorship opportunities for this event also include $250 for a Pop Level Sponsor and $500 for a Hop Level Sponsor.
This year we are also doing a Donation Supply Drive to benefit Starfish Project Foundation. An extra drink will be available to those who bring an item from the list below for donation (All donations must be new):

Golf Tournament 2026
JCBF Golf Tournament 2026
The annual Foundation golf tournament is one of the year’s can’t miss social and fundraising events. The tournament offers all members of the legal community -- golfers and non-golfers -- the opportunity to spend a day on the beautiful St. Andrews Golf Club course enjoying each other’s company. Court staff, attorneys, judges and local businesses all gather for a day of excellent food, drinks and entertainment, while raising money for local charities. The tournament has raised around $15,000 for the Foundation’s charity partners in the community in past years.

You may register as a teams, individual player, and/or other sponsor (see options below)!
The cost is $175 per player, which includes golf entry, cart fees, lunch, and beverages throughout the day. Teams are comprised of 4 golfers, and the names of golfers on teams may be listed at checkout. If you register as a single golfer and wish to golf with other single registered golfers (instead of registering for a team), you may include the names of golfers at checkout.
